How To Apply for a Second License
These instructions only apply if you are opening up a new company.
If you need to close an existing company or will be taking over a company that is already listed with us, please email us directly at reclicensing@wv.gov.
- Register your new company with the WV Secretary of State. (Company name must match the name listed on the SOS website, and the broker must be listed as an officer/member.)
- Complete either the Trust Fund Account or Waiver form as well as the Subordination Resolution form.
- Start Application for License.
- You will need to select "Second License" as the Candidate Type and leave the state & national pass dates blank.
